Recycled silver and teal sapphire gemstone hoop earrings, ethical jewellery handmade in Sydney.
Ethical jewellery handmade on the southern coast of Sydney, the Aluna Hoop earrings in Silver with Teal Sapphire gemstones are completely handmade in Zoë's studio on Dharawal country. Sapphire is known as the wisdom stone - it helps focus and bring in peace of mind.
Part of our Tidal Collection, these studs earrings are crafted from recycled silver and teal coloured sapphire gemstones. The metal used in these handmade silver hoops is melted down and hand poured into a mould so that the stones are cast into place, not set. This process of sand casting or Delft clay casting results in one-of-a-kind fine jewellery pieces. Due to the nature of this process, the shade of sapphire, placement, texture and finish of each Aluna Hoop earring will be unique. That’s the beauty of buying made to order, handmade jewellery!
Zoë Alexandria is ethical jewellery handmade in Australia. The metals and gemstones used in our rings, earrings and necklaces are responsibly sourced. The sapphires used in the Aluna Hoop earring are sourced from India and the silver is fabricated in Australia from a Sydney based refinery, using recycled materials. These earrings have been handcrafted with recycled silver and each hoop contains approx. 0.075 - 0.10ct total of teal coloured sapphire stones. The hoops measure approximately 20cm in diameter. To keep them safe please keep your Aluna Hoop earrings in their reusable pouch and cardboard box when you’re not wearing them. Make sure you apply your lotions and perfumes before you put them on and if you plan to go swimming, surfing or maybe even rock climbing - don’t take them with you!
