Ethical jewellery handmade on the southern coast of Sydney, the Demilune Pendant in Silver with Mixed Sapphire gemstones is completely handmade in Zoë's studio on Dharawal country. Sapphire is known as the wisdom stone - it helps focus and bring in peace of mind.

Crafted from recycled silver and mixed colour sapphire gemstones, the metal used in these pendants is melted down and hand poured so that the stones are cast into place, not set. This process of sand casting or Delft clay casting results in one-of-a-kind fine jewellery pieces. Due to the nature of this process, the stone colour, placement, texture and finish of each Demilune Pendant will be unique. That’s the beauty of buying made to order, handmade jewellery!

In an effort to reduce waste, you have the option to order the Demilune pendant with or without a chain. These pendants are designed to easily slip on and off most chains, so if you have your own at home we encourage you to reuse one for this pendant. At this point, we cannot make recycled chain but if you'd like a sterling silver chain to go with this pendant, then select the 'Yes please' option when purchasing. The chain length is 18". 

Zoë Alexandria is ethical jewellery handmade in Australia. The metals and gemstones used in our rings, earrings and necklaces are responsibly sourced. The sapphires used in the Silver Demilune Pendant are sourced from India and the silver is fabricated in Australia from a Sydney based refinery, using recycled materials. This pendant has been handcrafted with recycled silver and contains approx. 0.075 - 0.10ct total of mixed coloured sapphire stones. To keep her safe please keep your Demilune Pendant in her reusable pouch and cardboard box when you’re not wearing her. Make sure you apply your lotions and perfumes before you put her on and if you plan to go swimming, surfing or maybe even rock climbing - don’t take her with you!
