What is permanent jewellery?
Permanent jewellery is a necklace, anklet, or (more commonly) a bracelet that doesn't have a typical clasp. Instead, the ends are welded or “zapped” together — with the intention of never taking it off.

Does it hurt to get a Permanent Jewellery piece?
Absolutely not! With a zap & a flash, your piece is welded together - pain free.
Why do you use solid 14k gold?
Because we're all about quality! Permanent jewellery isn't designed to take on and off and we want our pieces to be able to live with you without the risk of tarnishing or discoloring your skin.
Yes, 14k gold cost more than alternative metals (such as brass, sterling, gold plated or gold fill options), but it will last alot longer and we're all about longevity.
Can I take my Permanent Jewellery piece off?
Ummm, essentially - no. Your permanent jewellery piece is, well, permanent! However, in case of emergency or for medical reasons, your piece can be removed by cutting the chain with cutters or scissors thanks to the nature of the fine chain.
What if I'm travelling through airport security?
Travelling through airport security shouldn't be an issue with your permanent jewellery because the chain is dainty enough that it won't get picked up by the metal detectors.
What if my Permanent Jewellery piece breaks?
We have a 2 week warranty on all WELD by Zoe Alexandria pieces in the case of a faulty weld. Simply contact us to discuss your warranty options.
How long with my Permanent Jewellery last?
Your permanent jewellery piece can last for years and years with proper care. However, chain stretching or breakage can occur (as with any jewellery piece) depending on your lifestyle.
How long does it take to get a piece of Permanent Jewellery?
Each WELD. with Zoe Alexandria appointment is for 15 minutes. This allows for chain and charm selection and welding your permanent jewellery piece on to your body. It's as simple as that!
How old do I have to be to get a piece of Permanent Jewellery?
You need to be over the age of 16 for a piece of permanent jewellery. This is due to the nature of growing bodies.
Anyone aged between 13-16 will need to be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
Can I get more than one piece during my appointment.
We can WELD one piece of permanent jewellery, per appointment. If you'd like more than one then you will need to book an additional appointment.
If you are booking a WELD. with Zoe Alexandria experience with a friend, partner or relative then you will each need to book a seperate appointment.
How do I care for my permanent piece?
We provide you with a complimentary polishing cloth after every appointment. Use this cloth to keep your permanent piece looking like new.
